In January of 1984, OS Adams opened the Fort Smith, Arkansas branch in an office space in Brunswick Plaza which is in the downtown historic section. Ross Hearn partnered with OS that February and within a year they moved into a building at the corner of B Street in Fort Smith. They occupied the top floor of 222 South 16th Street which was over an optometrist office. They soon purchased the building and made significant improvements to the entire structure. Soon after that the Hill Firm Architecture Company moved into the first floor.
